  • People can surprise you...

    no really...they do...

I was at work yesterday and someone I went out on a few dates with, popped up.  He was thinking about me, blah blah, wanted to say hi, blah blah and at the end...apologize.  We were talking about a former mutual friend, whom I no longer speak to...because HE'S AN ASS...and I said I no longer spoke with him because he was a "tool."  My former date, whom I referred to here as "Beige" said, "I was a tool the last time we hung out and I've felt bad about it, so I'm sorry."  He was a tool...matter of fact, he was an ASS, but I'm over it, and you know what...talk about growth.  Imagine if we all apologized for the things that still nag us that we feel bad about?

    Sometimes, it's us that surprises...

I remember the older students in my under-graduate years.  They were a little annoying and a bit of a show-off...but I admired them, because they were much more focused than my 18-22 year old self.  I hope that when I went back to grad school, I would have that.  I figured out after this past week of intensive, one-week class, waking up at 4am to do homework...I do.  That makes me very happy and satisfied.

Sometimes, it's just what we're thinking about that surprises us...

    • My lawn needs to be mowed...desperately
    • I feel fat
    • My new roman shades look STUN-NING
    • I have so much homework
    • Why don't Amazon.com marketplace people respond to emails?

    Laterz...

What did you order from Amazon?  I feel stupid cuz I just overnighted a book from there.  Little did I know it shipped out 30 minutes from my home.  GAW.

Jealous! I am out of the school scene this semester because things got messed up when we moved to california so now I'm a semester behind in my life plan :( But like it's been cool to be able to work in an office and it's giving me so much experience with things I had no idea about. I know to press the big GREEN button on the copier and not the big RED one.

I also figured out what a fax is. I still can't use it right, but I know what it is. I'd never used one. You would think email would cancel it out. But people like faxing things and people get pissed if I'm standing at the faxer trying to make it work until they yank it out of my hands and fax it for me. Ok I posted way too much and not anything related to your post. Sorry!!!

@masecam - See...but then there is emailFax...which I have...it's the best of both worlds...and feel free to post as much as you like...you're adorable and I like random!!

@AerialPJ - Oh Ok, no one is usually on xanga right now since im on west coast now. I miss being in Texas where everyone was online when I was bored and surfing the web (my man works from home at night, but he'll be done soon and ready for attention). I dont know email fax. I dont have a computer at work since Im like the office errand boy, but I use my bosses sometimes when he is doing other stuff and doesn't have anything for me to do. He won't let me help other people because he says they are users. I'm not adorable, but thanks. You're cute, but you look mad in your picture. Like some celebrity being stalked. :D
